Our First Adoption
Istanbul Kittens began in February 2020...when this very pregnant cat showed up in the middle of winter. She gave birth to four kittens in my closet, but only Hazel (the runt oddly enough) survived. Once Hazel was old enough, I posted about her online and within 24 hours on of my friends agreed to adopt her! If only every foster adoption was so easy :)
Peanut and Hazel
Peanut and Hazel showed up in our garden in September 2020 without a mother. They were about 6-8 weeks old and stole everyone's hearts immediately. They both had mild upper respiratory infections and parasites. After a short stay at the vet they came back and lived in the garden until the end of February 2021 when they got to go to their forever home.
Peanut (now Feles) and Hazel (now Elvis) are lucky, happy kittens in their new home. We love the updates their new family sends to us. We can tell they are loved and spoiled a lot!
Lucky #13
Brown Daddy was the 13th cat we sterilized in 2020. I had seen Brown Daddy around for months, but always assumed he was one of those wild, rough Tom cats. Boy was I wrong!
This handsome boy is a gentle love bug. When I decided to try to catch him to get sterilized, I quickly discovered that he loved to be pet. He gave me so many purrs and he walked right into the carrier.
Brown Daddy has a large territory. Before his neuter I would see him around randomly in different parts of the neighborhood. Since being re-released I've seen him a few times, but not often.
Now that he doesn't have to spend some much time fighting over the lady cats, I hope he charmed his way into someone's heart and home.
